Barrie Public Library is looking to recruit students (14+) to assist with children's programs from mid December to the end of March.
Are you a student who's interested in learning more about volunteering at Barrie Public Library? If so, join us at the Downtown Branch on Saturday November 29 at 10am for a free in person information session. During this hour, you'll learn about the programs needing support, the various tasks you may be asked to perform while volunteering, and the full details on how to apply. Students must attend an information session before applying to volunteer.
**Information sessions will be held at both Painswick and Downtown Branches. Please register for 1 session only.**
Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy a beverage or a small snack from our Café located inside the lobby, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or soak up the sun on our Rooftop Reading Garden.
