Come and find your next great read! The Book Sale will run from Saturday, May 23 to Sunday, May 24. Hours are: Saturday: 10am-4pm Sunday 10am-12pm.
We're proud to host a semi-annual BIG book sale, which is a multi-day event in the spring and in the fall. All proceeds from the book sales help support our plans for future branches and expand opportunities for lifelong learning, including the Library of Things collection and Creative Spaces area.
These events take place at the Downtown Library in the Angus Ross Room. Each sale features a blend of community donations and recently withdrawn library materials. Prices range from $0.25 to $4.00. More details can be found on our website: Book-Sales - Barrie Public Library

Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy a beverage or a small snack from our Café located inside the lobby, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or soak up the sun on our Rooftop Reading Garden.
