Gathering PlaceSpring is blooming! Come and learn tips and tricks to start your garden off right. This event will also mark the first day of our seed library so be sure to pick up some seeds while supplies last.
Join us as we learn from:
- Simcoe County Master Gardeners - Invasive Plants: Everything you want to know but were afraid to ask
- Moondance Organic Gardens - Get Growing
- City of Barrie - How City Parks Support Health & Wellbeing
There will also be representatives from Pollinate Barrie, Painswick Garden Club and the Oro-Medonte Horticultural Society, all here to answer your questions.
Don't forget you can also borrow Gardening Kits from our Library of Things. We have kits for adults and kids too!

Downtown Branch
Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy a beverage or a small snack from our Café located inside the lobby, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or soak up the sun on our Rooftop Reading Garden.
