It will be a Howling Good Time for all!
Paws by for your chance to get a costume for your furry fido friends (while supplies last). While you're at it, why not capture their best pose against our photo backdrop (bring your own camera) and connect with pet service businesses too.
The event will take place on the front lawn of our Painswick location. If weather is not on our side, we will move everything inside but ask all pet owners to enter only through the doors facing Dean Avenue. We are leaving the back doors and parking lot for our 2 legged friends.
Thank you to the OSPCA for the amazing variety of fun Halloween costumes which they are graciously providing and giving to participants for this event. Thank you also to their volunteers who will also be present that day.
* Please note: This is NOT an event designed for children. Our dog friends have come to the library to enjoy time with their human family. Please do not approach or pet any dog without first asking for explicit consent from the owner.

Our Painswick Branch is located in the south end of Barrie, near the corner of Big Bay Point Road and Yonge Street. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy the bright and sunny reading lounge, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or book a room for your next event.
