First week in February is Eating Disorder Awareness Week. No matter why or what, eating disorders are challenging for both the person who struggles with them, as well as their families.

Sue Cook is a dedicated professional in mental health and wellness since the early 1980s.
With a master's in Education Counselling, a Bachelor of First Nations Studies, and a diploma in Child and Youth Care, Sue brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as a Registered Social Worker and Certified Canadian Counsellor. Her diverse experience includes impactful work in education, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. Passionate about improving lives, Sue has contributed to the wider discourse on mental health with articles in Maclean's Magazine and Today's Parent.
She is the owner of Family TLC and her commitment to assisting individuals in reaching their mental health goals has led to the growth of her private practice. Sue’s collaborative spirit extends to her practice, where she actively welcomes other professionals, creating a supportive community dedicated to positive change.
