Massie Family Community RoomBook an hour for unstructured play in an accessible multi-sensory pop-up space in the library.
A multi-sensory environment in a library can create a more engaging and accessible space for all. By incorporating elements such as scents, lighting, colour, motion, and textures we create a more immersive way to experience play together and create an inclusive environment for everyone.
- Caregivers must be present. Staff are available to answer questions and to assist with transition from room at end of hour.
- 1 group can book at a time. Max 10 participants per group. Please call Library at 705-728-1010 to discuss options for larger groups.
If you cannot make your booking please call 705-728-1010 ext. 4810 to cancel so the spot can go to another group.

Our Painswick Branch is located in the south end of Barrie, near the corner of Big Bay Point Road and Yonge Street. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy the bright and sunny reading lounge, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or book a room for your next event.
