Travel vicariously through others as you enjoy photos and stories from their travels around the world. Each session features a presentation followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
"I think I might be a Nomad"
Karen Clegg was born & raised in Zimbabwe, Africa. She moved to Canada in 2000 due to political unrest and state-sanctioned human rights abuse in Zimbabwe. For the past 8 years, she has been working for the Town of Collingwood in Economic Development. Karen missed her homeland and regularly returned to visit. Today she feeds her passion for travel in that part of the world by leading an exclusive small group tour every few years. Her last tour will be in November 2023 for the foreseeable future due to family commitments.
“I’ve never met anyone, ever, that has been to my part of the world in Africa, and that didn’t come back a changed person for the better.”
