Gathering PlaceConnect with local authors during our book Expo and buy their latest titles in time for your holiday gift giving and reading. Join us to meet and hear book talks by local authors on our main stage.
Join our local authors for lightning book talks to discover a new author to read or whose book you can gift! Families can drop-in to picture book readings between 2:00-3:30pm with local authors Kylie Victoria, Catherine Nevin-Pike, Anaiah Ofori-Poku, Harry Binnendyk, Megan Galati and Margot Edge with Valerie Losell. See what our local used bookstore has by local authors and for writers and local historians.

Downtown Branch
Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy a beverage or a small snack from our Café located inside the lobby, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or soak up the sun on our Rooftop Reading Garden.
