Teen Takeover:
For one afternoon each week, the library is yours. Come hang out with friends, meet some new people, and check out teen-only activities. You can explore the Creative Spaces, try some hands-on projects, play video games, join a scavenger hunt or just chill and make some art (plus free pizza).
No parents. No little kids. Just a space to relax, be yourself, and have fun. Bring your friends and take over.
Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy a beverage or a small snack from our Café located inside the lobby, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or soak up the sun on our Rooftop Reading Garden.
