Come get free native plant seeds, or bring your own to share through the Seed Library! The City of Barrie will also be on hand to talk about the Community Garden and Boulevard Garden Programs.
If bringing seeds to share, they must be packaged, native to Ontario and labeled with their Latin name. Don’t know the Latin name? No problem, Pollinate Barrie will be on hand to assist with all of your plant questions.
Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy a beverage or a small snack from our Café located inside the lobby, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or soak up the sun on our Rooftop Reading Garden.
