Unleash your creativity and learn how you can use art to change the world.
In this workshop, led by Shelly-Ann Skinner (They/She), Naesiah Shannon (She/Her), and Jaden Skinner (he/him), participants will engage in discussions about the power of art in activism, historical examples of art as a catalyst for change, and the role of artists as activists. Participants will learn about different art forms and techniques that can be used in their activism. The workshop aims to explore the intersection of art and activism, providing participants with a platform to express their ideas, emotions, and perspectives on various social and political topics. Participants are encouraged to bring their artistic pieces to the workshop, to share with the participants.
