Come explore Mindfulness Meditation as a way to be fully present, engaging in your life with open-hearted awareness.
We can 'come to our senses’, give ourselves ‘breathing space’, relax and be deeply present with compassion, wisdom and composure in difficult situations. We can learn to recognize and work with the mental wiring that sends us spiraling into reactivity that doesn’t serve us or those around us. Bring your ‘Beginner’s Mind’, letting go of preconceived notions and habitual patterns, and allow yourself to access the insight of the present moment.
Instruction and guidance will be adapted to the needs and backgrounds of the participants. A typical session will include group guidance, and sitting, walking and standing meditation.
Chairs will be provided, but bring your own meditation cushion or bench if you prefer to sit on the ground.
This series will be offered on Sundays for 4 weeks. It runs from March 12 to April 2. You are welcome to attend either a single or multiple sessions.
Please register for each week you would like to attend at least 1 day before the session.
The health and safety of our participants and staff is our top priority, please review our Stay Safe Guidelines.
