Simcoe Author Talk Series: The Barrie Public Library has joined literary forces with ten local libraries (Clearview, Collingwood, Essa, Innisfil ideaLab, Midland, New Tecumseth, Penetanguishene, Ramara, Springwater, and Wasaga) to offer a 2022 virtual author talk series.
Tara, founder of The Zero Waste Collective and author of Don't Be Trashy: A Practical Guide to Living with Less Waste and More Joy. Based in Canada, she has created an online space as a hub for the zero waste lifestyle movement. Tara has a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning and is a sustainability entrepreneur who started her low waste journey early in 2017 she has always been environmentally conscious, but travelling has been the biggest eye-opener to the global trash problem. Her solution is to reduce waste and together, we can make a difference, one piece of trash at a time. Our world depends on it!
Video Conference Programs:
Allows you to enjoy real-time video chat with library staff and other registered participants. When joining, you have the option to connect with audio only, but it is encouraged to allow audio and video to get the most out of the program.
