Peter will be talking about his newest release, “Pushing the Boundaries! How To Get More Out Of Life".

If you are looking for an inspiring and moving “must read,” then this is the presentation and book for you. Learn how ordinary people have, and can, overcome adversity to do extraordinary things. Listen to how we all hold the power within ourselves to change our lives through resilience, a positive attitude and by embracing happiness.

Peter Jennings is a true “Renaissance Man”. A non-fiction writer (of 7 published works), he is also an acclaimed public speaker and singer. He has sat down and talked to, and been inspired by, not only everyday people, but the likes of Bernie Taupin, Frank Sinatra Jr, Monika Schnarre, Lloyd Robertson and Moses Znaimer.

To quote the author ”I write books that help people transform their existence, inspiring them to capitalize on the advantages life offers.”

Peter Jennings is a creative non-fiction writer and acclaimed author. He is a member of the Writers’ Union of Canada. His books are published by Castle Carrington Publishing Group in Victoria B.C. and include…
• "Shark Assault: An Amazing Story of Survival” sharkassault.com
• "A Guide To Happiness: Why Being Happy Matters” aguidetohappiness.life
• "Behind the Seams: The Marilyn Brooks Story" marilynbrooks.com
• "For Want Of 40 Pounds" forwantof40pounds.com
• "Until I Smile at You: The Ruth Lowe Story” untilismileatyou.com
• "Ruth’s Wonderful Song” thewonderfulsong.com
• "Pushing The Boundaries! How To Get More Out Of Life" pushingtheboundaries.life
• "Icons. Growing Up In The Shadow Of Greatness” iconsbook.life (To be published in 2022)
He is researching/writing several more books.

Prior to turning to writing full time, Peter spent his career in corporate communications running agencies handling marketing, advertising, branding, public relations and production of multimedia content, including videos, websites and social media elements. Clients included hundreds of top ranked businesses of all types and sizes, from McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble, RBC, IBM, Coca-Cola, etc., to niche start-ups.

Following education at Upper Canada College (where he wrote and produced two groundbreaking feature-length films), he attended Trinity College, University of Toronto and worked at the campus radio station. This led to stints in on-air production and management with professional radio broadcasters where he sharpened his keen sense of timing, audience response, communications innovation and production efficiency. Next, he took on creative and management roles as Vice President & General Manager at media companies owned by Rogers and Southam. Anticipating an entrepreneurial future, Peter assumed the role of Senior Producer at IBM Canada, thereby broadening his business skills and achieving greater exposure to U.S. and international markets.

Peter has been a Guest Lecturer on marketing at Centennial College and at the Government of Ontario’s Self Employment Assistance Program (where students voted him 9 out of 10 for effective teaching). He has served on the Boards of several charities, as well as chairing Boards. He mentors community-based writers who seek communications advice. He has recently assisted Gateway Learning Centre in the development and marketing of their literacy platform.

In his leisure time, he enjoys visits with his son, two daughters-in-law and three granddaughters, along with his rescue dogs, Molly and Macy. When he's not writing, Peter delights in Fairview, his modern lakeside residence at Mundy's Harbour on Georgian Bay where activities include listening to jazz and symphony, singing, films, travel, cooking and spirited conversations with good friends.
