Register for a tea tasting kit and join us online to learn about the teas, the many benefits of tea, and how to steep the perfect cup!

We're celebrating all things tea this May with our Tea Festival! Join us for an online tea tasting that you can complete on your own time. Simply register for a tea tasting kit and follow the instructions on the handout to learn more about the teas through online videos. 

Register for a Tea Sampling Kit: Registration closes on Friday, May 21. You will be contacted when kits are available for pickup the week of May 24. There will be a handout with instructions to take you through the tea tasting with three samples.

Watch Online Tutorials with Universal Class: Once you've picked up your kit, learn more about teas and their history through Universal Class in our Digital Library! You can pause and replay to learn at your own pace when it's convenient for you.

• If you don't already have a Universal Class account, create one with your library card.
• Search for a course called 'Tea Parties 101', then click on the 'Join this Course' button. Choose the 'Join Video Course Only' option, then 'Video Only Mode' to watch a step-by-step tutorial. For this Tea Tasting we recommend you watch Lesson 2: History of Tea and Lesson 5: Types of Tea. 
• Need help with Universal Class? Watch our Universal Class tutorial to learn how to sign in and find courses. 

Missed the registration date? Not to worry! You can select your own teas to sample with friends or family and host your own virtual tea tasting. Once you have your teas, then watch the two tutorials above for our step-by-step instructions on how to taste any tea.
