Jim Lowe's mission in life is to beat back the bland forces of boring online content. Jim's Social Media Super Powers include Branding, Content Creation, Blogging, Ad Management and Marketing Strategy. A graduate of both Wilfrid Laurier University and Georgian College, Jim has more than two decades of experience creating content and building brand awareness for hundreds of clients ranging from local start-ups to some of the World's largest corporations.
Since teaming up with his sister (and Assisting You Social founder) Barbara Lowe in 2015, Jim has used those Super Powers to help local entrepreneurs grow their businesses through superior online strategies. With full-service offices in both Barrie and Midland, Assisting You Social has become one of Simcoe County's largest and most respected social media management firms.
In 2018, Jim became the first individual to receive the annual Outstanding Marketing & Promotion Award from the Ontario Lacrosse Association, an honour previously only awarded to organizations and teams.
Jim is a member of the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce, BNI Business By the Bay, and the Titans Marketing Group. Jim is also a well-known figure as a local sports personality through his work as an announcer on Rogers TV, webcasts, and in-arena for many local teams.
