Join the Barrie Folk Society as they share their passion for folk music, this not-for-profit organization cares about the growth and nurturing of the folk music movement in our community. Learn new songs, connect with like-minded musicians or simply sit back and enjoy the tunes.
All ages welcome, musicians can sign up starting at 6:30 pm for a chance to perform.
During the summer months, as weather permits, the Open Stage Night will be offered in the outdoor Reading Garden located on the 2nd floor of the downtown library location.
Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy a beverage or a small snack from our Café located inside the lobby, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or soak up the sun on our Rooftop Reading Garden.
