Join Noble Media Marketing for an interactive workshop that applies Professor Janet M. Bennett’s research on intercultural competency to modern marketing practice. Grounded in her three keys to cultural competency: curiosity, cognitive complexity, and empathy, this session helps marketers better understand diverse audiences, interpret cultural cues, and build authentic connections across communities.
Through hands-on activities and guided dialogue, participants will explore how personal perspective influences messaging, how assumptions can shape (or limit) market insight, and how effective dialogue strengthens brand trust and engagement. This workshop equips marketing professionals with practical tools to assess their cultural awareness and adapt strategies that resonate with an increasingly diverse clientele.
Please note: this program will include opportunities for live attendee interactions. Participation in the exercises is not mandatory, but 'hands-on' learning is strongly encouraged to get the most out of this workshop.
