Barrie Public Library is looking to recruit students (14+) to join our Summer Volunteer Squad. This role allows students to assist with our amazing programs held in July and August.
Are you a student who's interested in learning more about volunteering at Barrie Public Library? If so, join us at the Painswick Branch on Saturday April 26 at 12pm for a free in person information session. During this hour, you'll learn about the programs needing support, the various tasks you may be asked to perform while volunteering, and the full details on how to apply. Students must attend an information session before applying to volunteer.
**Information sessions will be held at both Painswick and Downtown Branches. Please register for 1 session only.**
Our Painswick Branch is located in the south end of Barrie, near the corner of Big Bay Point Road and Yonge Street. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy the bright and sunny reading lounge, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or book a room for your next event.
