Join Tricia Khan, a local author, as she reads from her books and leads children in crafts and activities to celebrate Black History Month.
Tricia Khan is a children's book author committed to empowering young minds through impactful storytelling. Drawing inspiration from her own childhood and her children’s experiences, she crafts stories that give voice to kids' inner thoughts and emotions.
Her works include “My Furry Friend”, “It’s My Hair, I Don’t Care”, the Inner-Self series featuring “Trouble Is Not Cool!” and “The Fear In Me”. Tricia’s upcoming book, Alphabetically Me (From A-Z), set to release in December, continues her mission to promote confidence, self-love, inclusivity, kindness and resilience. Tricia ensures representation in each story, believing every child deserves empowerment and a voice.
Works are geared towards ages 5-7. All are welcome at the storytime.
