Listen to the sound of live music, or bring your instrument and play your favourite tunes in an OPEN STAGE format.
Join the Barrie Folk Society, a not-for-profit organization that cares about the growth and nurturing of the folk/roots music movement in our community, as they share their passion for acoustic music.
Open Stage: Performers (solo or groups) will have the opportunity to perform a three-song set (15 minutes max). There will be 10 guaranteed spots available. At the conclusion of the 10 performances the host will apportion the remaining time among those that have not yet performed and/or give others a chance for extra songs.
The event will run on the second Wednesday of the month from 6:00-830 pm and sign up time will begin at 5:45 pm, first come first served.
Members of the community are encouraged to come out and be part of our audience. Enjoy an evening of musical entertainment for FREE!
