Join us for a unique exploration of Simcoe County's beverage business history over the last 100 year traced through a fascinating bottle collection.
With a passion for history and owner of over 3,000 bottles collected over 15 years, Lee Patton will present an illustrated talk about the soda, dairy and creamery businesses once prominent in Simcoe County between 1870 and 1970. Advertising ephemera, caps, lids, tokens, crates, and a variety of other related material culture will supplement this presentation.
All are to attend. Bring a friend!
A pop-up display of bottles featured in this talk will be available. Copies of Lee's self-published book will be for sale too.
