The mission of a Death Cafe is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'. Although people experiencing grief are welcome to join and talk about it, they are not meant to be grief or end of life support groups and the group is not designed to offer mental health advice.
This event is designed to promote and facilitate important conversations about advanced care planning, dying, death, and funeral planning. A representative from Hospice Simcoe will be facilitating this program.
The health and safety of our participants and staff is our top priority, please review our Stay Safe Guidelines.
