We all get 'em..."the February Blues" and our annual attack of "cabin fever" but relief is right around the corner... because The Barrie Jazz and Blues Festival is once again bringing world-class music to Barrie.
About the artist:
Grant Lyle is an esteemed guitarist, singer and songwriter with ear catching sound that moves you to the soul. Grant has played professionally for over 20 years. His dynamic career has included 7 recorded CDs. His most recent work “So There” was released April 2012. This Canadian blues-rock performer has a style that honours the traditional blues of the past while injecting a unique and innovative personal style. Grant’s dedication to the quality of music shines through while performing live as much as in the studio.
Grant has received a great deal of media attention, including television appearances on Breakfast Television, CKVR, OnTV, CityTV, and CBC. His CD’s have received airtime on Canadian stations CJRT, CBC, CIUT, CKLN, CKVS and throughout the world on outlets in Russia, France, England, USA and Spain. He is especially proud to have received over 100,000 hours of total listen time for his “All The Way” CD. Grant can be heard online through local and international podcasts. He has been favourably reviewed in the National Post, Toronto Star, Now Magazine, Toronto Blues Society, Exclaim! and Blues On Stage.

Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible.
