Georgia Swan
Georgia was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994 after having attended the University of Toronto for undergraduate studies and the University of Windsor - Faculty of Law for her law degree. During the first 18 years of her law career, she practiced family law, estate planning, estate administration, and tax law with an emphasis on business owner clients.
She has been certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Estates and Trusts Law and in Taxation Law and was an advisor to the Law Society with respect to the creation of the specialty designation in Taxation Law. She is a frequent speaker on topics ranging from the interplay between family law, estate and trust law, to technical tax issues.
In May of 2017, TD Wealth lured Georgia away from the private practice of law to her current position as a Tax and Estate Planner for TD Wealth Advisory Services in the Greater Barrie area.
