Join Cesia E. Green & Cindy Scharff to learn what are the legal pitfalls that may arise from being common-law versus legally married.
Cindy Scharff Gelman
After practicing family law for over a decade, Cindy has just about seen it all, handling the gamut of cases from negotiation to litigation to collaborative divorce. So, she not only has a wealth of experience, but her clients say she has an exceptional ability to listen and become a calming and reassuring presence for them during a difficult time. In fact, Cindy’s legal expertise and her deep compassion are just two of the valued traits she brings to the important work she does on the board of Victim Services of York Region. In addition to all of the above, Cindy is also trained and certified to practice Collaborative Family Law.
