Sewing for Beginners
Saturday, August 22
1:30pm - 3:00pm
Downtown Branch
Creative SpacesStaff will guide you through a simple sewing project. Materials and access to a machine are provided - just bring your creativity! Note: Spots are limited. Registration required.
Discover the joy of creating at our Sewing for Beginners program. This beginner-friendly course is designed for those with little to no sewing experience. We provide all the materials, sewing machines, and step-by-step instructions you need to complete your first project. You will learn machine basics, straight stitches, and simple patterns. Leave the class with foundational skills and a finished item you made yourself.
Please note, this drawstring bag project was featured in a past Sewing for Beginners program. If you have already attended this program, we encourage you to visit us in Creative Spaces and use your new skills to create your own independent project!
