November 16th is Information and Referral Day in Ontario. Our day to celebrate the work of Community Information and Referral providers throughout Ontario will be November 6th this year. Drop by the downtown branch and visit our in-person Service Partner pop-ups to connect and discover. The following organizations will be available to provide information about their services:
Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County, Autism Ontario, Barrie Fire Services, Barrie Police Services, Barrie Transit, Canadian Mental Health Association, Canadian Red Cross, CARP, Catulpa Community Support Services, CFS Counselling and Wellbeing, Elizabeth Fry Society Simcoe Muskoka, Gilda's Club, Hospice Simcoe, Making Change, Métis Nation of Ontario, New Path Youth and Family Services, Ontario Works, Seasons Centre for Grieving Children, Victoria Village, Women and Children's Shelter of Barrie, YMCA Immigration Services, YMCA SWISS, and Youth Haven.
Our Downtown Branch is centrally located in the Downtown core at the corner of Worsley and Owen Streets. The building and facilities are fully accessible. Enjoy a beverage or a small snack from our Café located inside the lobby, use our complimentary wifi, experiment with technology and maker tools, or soak up the sun on our Rooftop Reading Garden.
